The following songs were chosen. For some of the young people the video was as important as the song,<\/p>\n<p><strong>Reggie&#8217;s<\/strong> choice was the Baz Luhrman song <em>Wear Sunscreen <\/em><\/p>\n<blockquote><p>It&#8217;s basically a song about elderly reflection. The typical stuff that old people say, and you never listen to them. And his one piece of advice&#8230; is to <em>wear sunscreen<\/em>. \u00a0This song&#8217;s nice. It&#8217;s beautiful<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><iframe width=\"660\" height=\"371\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/qHE_XGtUNx4?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><strong>Maylak&#8217;s<\/strong> choice was\u00a0Eminem&#8217;s <em>Mockingbird<\/em>. He found it hard to explain why this song was important to him but he used to listen to the music and word over and over because it meant a lot.<\/p>\n<p><iframe width=\"660\" height=\"495\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/S9bCLPwzSC0?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><strong>Leah\u2019s<\/strong> choice: Heaven 9\/11 Remix DJ Sammy ft Little Girl<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>That\u2019s my dad\u2019s song. I love that song\u2026..I don\u2019t know how to put it but a lot of the stuff it\u00a0says in the song my dad done it when he was younger\u2026It was good \u2018cos I liked how he\u00a0pushed me on the swing. See you really have to listen to the song to know where I\u2019m coming\u00a0from\u2026Everything to do with this song happened when I was younger. It\u2019s amazing.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><iframe width=\"660\" height=\"495\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/qE1rWwQX_tE?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><strong>Steven and Thomas chose<\/strong>\u00a0<em>Watchtower<\/em>\u00a0by Devlin ft Ed Sheeran.\u00a0<strong>Steven<\/strong> chose this song as a message for young people in residential care:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>because that\u2019s\u00a0when it mainly goes wrong. When they can go out and start committing crime and stuff.\u00a0Steven\u2019s message to other young people is: \u2018just do what you can. Do what you\u2019re good at.\u00a0Don\u2019t be somebody that you\u2019re not.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><strong>Thomas<\/strong> chose it because of the video:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>It\u2019s just the way you saw him do that\u00a0stuff, that whatever was in the box..you can tell something must have went on. It was\u00a0affecting his family, affecting his friends, and then it was showing\u2026you cannae trust your\u00a0pals and all that<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><iframe width=\"660\" height=\"371\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/tfAIgkd8Yjo?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><strong>Drab<\/strong> chose <em>Read All About It<\/em>\u00a0by Professor Green, ft. Emeli Sande<br \/>\nDrab made his own video of Professor Green\u2019s video playing on the TV. This was because the film was as important as the words. The video reminded him of when he was younger (like the boy in the film).<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Cos I got very angry and that<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Listening to the song allowed him to reflect on how he had changed, and how his anger had reduced. The boy in the film represented who he used to be.<\/p>\n<p><iframe width=\"660\" height=\"371\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/-_oLfC5Z_Ys?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><strong>Thomas and Drab\u00a0<\/strong>\u00a0chose: <em>Papa: can you hear me by\u00a0<\/em>\u00a0N\u2019Dubz<br \/>\nThomas chose the words of this song for \u2018everyone who is doing stuff that is affecting their family\u2019. Drab chose this song because it was a message to his granddad. When Drab played this song, he wished his granddad was sitting there too.<\/p>\n<p><iframe width=\"660\" height=\"495\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/z2eZoUjE4Vg?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><strong>Daniel <\/strong>chose Jessie J&#8217;s\u00a0<em>Laserlight<\/em>. \u00a0Daniel told us<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\nI actually do love this song. It means a lot to me as well\u2026 Jessie J is singing about her fans. Her fans are like laserlights\u2026making her feel proud and happy. They\u2019re supporting her\u2026The song makes me feel good as a person. I can\u2019t actually live without this music. That\u2019s why I love Jessie J.
